- Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan and add finely chopped garlic, 1-2 chopped green chillies.
- Then add 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp red chilli sauce, 2 tbsp tomato ketchup,
1 tsp vinegar, ½ cup water and salt to taste.
- Keep cooking this mixture on high flame for 2 minutes until the sauce looks slightly thick.
Quick tip : At this stage, taste the sauce once and adjust salt if required.
Mixing everything together

- Now we add the fried veg balls to the sauce.
- Toss the manchurian balls gently for a few seconds, 30-40 seconds.
- If you want slurry for the gravy, you can add a mixture of 1 tsp cornflour + 2 tbsp water to the gravy and mix until the sauce thickens.
Quick tip : Once the balls are mixed, turn off the flame because overcooking the balls can make them soggy.
Your tasty veg manchurian is ready to be served hot !. You can serve it chopped green spring onions or simply onions.
